Whether you're wondering how to bake, reheat, store, or just enjoy your empanadas, we've got all the answers. Check out the info below to make sure you're getting the most out of every bite.

OUR EMPANADA FAQs

  • Our empanadas are made with all-natural, fresh ingredients – no additives or preservatives!

    • BBQ Pork

    Our sauces are made in small-batch blends of garden-fresh herbs – the perfect complement for your empanadas.

    • Basil Aioli

    • Señor Oz Sauce

    • Signature Chimi

  • We proudly offer one vegetarian flavor (Caprese).

     

    We're working on a gluten-free flavor, coming soon!

  • Our empanadas contain wheat (gluten), dairy, and eggs. We operate in a kitchen that handles nuts.

  • Our appetite guide:

    • Light Snack: 2 empanadas per person.

    • Standard Meal: 3 empanadas per person.

  • To order, visit our Order Online page, or email us at orders@senoroz.com.

  • Changes: Quantities can be increased up to 24 hours before the event (subject to availability). Please note that once we've started prepping within 36 hours of the event, we cannot decrease quantities.

    Cancellations: Full refund for cancellations made 48 hours in advance or 50% refund for cancellations within 36 hours, as ingredients are already prepared.

  • From Frozen:

    • Preheat oven to 420°F.

    • Remove all plastic packaging before baking.

    • Place empanadas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

     Bake for 15-17 minutes, until golden and fully cooked.

     Empanadas with cheese need 10-13 minutes baking time.

     (Optional) Rotate tray halfway for even baking.

     (Optional) Make 3 small holes with a toothpick to prevent leakage or bursting.

     (Optional) For a golden finish, lightly brush with egg wash.

     Let rest for 2 minutes before enjoying!

  • From Baked:

    • Reheat in oven at 350°F for 5-6 minutes.

    • We recommend skipping the microwave to keep the crust flaky and crisp.

  • How long will my empanadas stay fresh?

    • In the Fridge: Our baked empanadas and signature sauces are best enjoyed within 5–7 days. Keep them in an airtight container to maintain that perfect texture.

    • In the Freezer: Our frozen empanadas keep their artisan flavor for up to 3 months. Keep them in an airtight container to maintain that perfect texture.
